I haven't been writing much lately. It comes in spurts (mind out of gutter please). Things have been going well or as best as I can expect. I have been painting lately and that is quite the stress remover. I also can't smoke cigs when I paint so it's a two for one bonus. I found these HUGE fantasy books. I use paint, pencils, and a certain type of crayon. When I see the finished piece, just like writing something beautiful, the feeling is splendid.
I also realize I am still a work in progress. I want to do more in my lifetime than just drift along and die. Sounds trite, but I want to make a difference before the flesh becomes dust,. I am starting to keep notes on everything that appeals to me personally, for future reference. Right now I am content to savor my hot am. coffee, the quite of the early morning. The best part of the day. To quote a line from a song I have always liked...."Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there...Incubus. That is simple and and a goal I know I can accomplish. Peace, today and forever!

You could post your work although I know that possibility brings on all kinds of doubt: is is good enough, will others see what I saw and painted, should it be copywrite (invoking that set of concerns), or just I don't have a camera.
Still it would be nice to see your work. I am trying collage on a 3'X2' board which I backed with an old newspaper from about 1914. Real brown and faded. Then on top of that various efforts at meaningful "arty" stuff. So far only a photo of an old woman and flyer for a concert in Louisiana about 1969 with Leon Russell and others.
I need to read up on what a collage is supposed to present, I guess.

Whitemist- Don't know if I am ready to share my work yet. I do know that it relaxes me and helps me unwind.
Lou- I have always been a Cool Hand Luke fan. Sigh..I even like his salad dressing, giggle.
Goatman- I LOVE doing collages. I have a big scrapbook that I do a collage on every page for my youngest son to tell him his story. I promise as soon as I get some more confidence in my work I will share...
