Babbling's
I noticed lately that I write WAAAYYY better than I speak. I don't understand. When I talk I have a tendency to go off on tangents. It's like there are all these thoughts dying to get out, and I try to verbally do that. It sounds like babble. Maybe when you write you actually have time to sit down and think through what you want to put on paper. I have been like this since a child. I have had a journal since I was about 12. Sadly I no longer have the old wire bound notebooks, but oh, I wish I did. Those journals were such a source of comfort through a crazy adolescence. Do any of you feel the same way in regard to writing your thoughts vs. speaking them? Just curious. Enjoy the weekend. Mine starts tomorrow~

My closest people have always said I expressed my self much better in writing than when speaking. i was not as guarded. He was correct and now with the new thing going on in my head since the tumor is gone, so much more is coming out.
Whitemist- I love the way you write. I am glad your friends have been so supportive and encouraging. I hope you continue to write!
What I like about writing is I can erase it if it's hurtful or unkind. Unfortunately, can't do that with my mouth...
I always feel like I am much more coherent writing than speaking (that's why I hate the telephone maybe). I much prefer e-mailing folks, especially in the mornings, when I don't like to talk at all. I am a big fucking morning grouch.
Hope the weekend will be a good one.
Lou- I agree. Thank god for the delete button..I wish there was a "real" one...
SB- I, took, prefer emailing people. I am not a morning grouch. I do, as many of us, have my morning rituals that keep me sane. When they get interuppted, than I become a huge grouch! Love ya...
