Blah, blah, and more blah

I'm waiting for my laundry to dry and than it is off to work. Watching the news is getting seriously depressing so I've turned on the music instead. Good choice. Time to put my work game face on. That is not always an easy thing to do. Making your living by catering to the public requires a ton of fake perkiness and lots of smiling. Thankfully most of our clientele is decent and nice That is what makes all the difference. I could never work at say, The department of motor vehicles. Not many happy campers amongst that crowd there. More people need to realize that all of us feed off of each other's energy. You get what you give, in all senses. I wake up so thankful these days for my new life and surroundings. My late father always said that everyday in life you would probably have to eat a spoonful of shit. ( I miss this man very much) The older I get I put my new spin on his words. Yes, you might have to eat a few spoonfuls of shit , but in between are many delightful bites of ice-cream and good stuff. Savor the good stuff! Peace!!!!

Hi Lori. You are looking lovely these days!

Andrew lucked out at his restaurant job. It's a coney place. Real down to earth people, they treat him good, everyone there has a "past" so nobody is too nosy. He is grateful to have found a job close to home, with such "good looking" girls too:)
Maybe one will let him move in with them..LOL, wishful thinking.

Spoonful of shit? It's all in the attitude. Have a good week end, hope you make lots of tips.

I'll eat the shit right after the person dishing it out takes the first bite.

Lou- Most of us with past indiscretions find work in restaurants as they don't tend to do extensive background checks. One mistake I made early on was I had a habit of sharing my past a little to easy to my co-workers which led me back into meeting the wrong crowd. Now I keep the past where it belongs. Not everything is for public consumtion. Andrew is a great looking boy. He will soon be coming home with his new waitress girlfriend, lol. You are going to start reaping some well deserved parental rewards soon. God Bless and be well..xoxo

WM- The problem my dad used to tell me is that the people who dole out the spoonfuls of shit are the ones never in the position of being forced to swallow it. Good example...hmmm...our government....Love ya..
