I love you my son, but....
My older son, the one in the mire of addiction, has been calling me again wanting to know if we can get a place together, you know roomies. LOL., My late husband gave me the perfect reply for certain situations. He called them the arcs of life. I am at a different arc, thank God, than I was when I was 23. So I shall call him today and tell him that we are at different arcs of life. I like peace and quiet. He likes liquor, woman and chaos and substances. Definitely different arcs. Kenny would be proud. He never got along with Jason. He couldn't tolerate a liar especially when there was no need. We were both recovering addicts and we understood what he was going through. Yet he still chose to lie. I found most people lie simply because it's easier. That is why I am starting to enjoy this arc of life I am on now. Little drama, no major, earthshaking tradgedies everyday. That is the arc for the 30 and under. I just turned 45 and I am actually loving it. Imagine that?

different arcs..oh yeah, I'm going to be using that one!!
thanks;)
I like that answer but I wonder if the kid would understand it. At the very top of his arc is "ME FIRST MA!"
Lou- It has saved me a few times. Glad I can help with a good comeback when put on the spot. xoxo
WM- You must have met him, lol. I do love him very much, but Mark I am tired. My days of picking up whiskey bottles and overflowing ashtrays being emptied (except mine) are over. Sperm + Egg = Lifelong invisible umbilical cord!!! Love you!
