Fighting with my internet provider
The reason I haven't been blogging is due to the idiots at my cable company. We have the all inclusive package; phone, internet, and cable. Well apparently they got confused as my son has his own internet and so do I, all thru them. I wanted a new phone number. As soon as they hooked up my new number yesterday my internet went dead. They then informed me that they now have to send a tech to my house- Sunday. I am an internet junkie, how dare them? They apologized, fed me a bunch of bullshit about the FCC guidelines and blah blah and more blah. Plus, they were charging me for two separate lines, so after Sunday Jesse and I will be hooked up to one modem and lose the extra charge. I believe deep down that all they would have to do is reset my modem temporarily, til Sunday, but they said no, they have to follow a protocol with a new phone number. Mind you they did not tell me all this shit when they said it was no problem to get a new number. So til Sunday I am sharing a computer with my 18 year old son, who also lives online. Not pretty in my house right now...And such is life these days...

Jesse do the old fashioned thing...tie up the phone line for hours on end.
Oooh...you are going down Walking Man!!!!!! My kid needs no encouragement on that tip...he falls asleep with my portable phone as it is...I'm gonna get you......:)
Uhhh Lori...phone in ear means hands away from keyboard especially if you're in the room waiting to use the PC. No one wants their mom to hear of their teen age machinations.
I see, the thing is, the kid multi-tasks...He talks 24-7 to his girlfriend...He talks more than I did as a teenager on the phone....
That's the bad thing about all the cell phones now being Bluetooth-enabled, it's so easy to put the phone down and use both hands to type, all the while chattering away on the phone. I do it all the time while I'm getting dressed for work or studying! (wonder if that's why I flunked my midterm?? LOL) J/K I flunked my midterm cause I suck at math,plain and simple!! Still....wonder if I could do better on my final without the phone in my ear......

Shoulda told me you needed some help with math..I used to be a tutor in another life...Seriously...BTW...switched back to Comcast, which is why I am in this whole damn mess to begin with...Now I was just told the tech can't get here till tomorrow. I am ready to throw my modem on 695 and watch trucks smash it..you get to that frustration level after being on the phone for a week...Nice to see you dear...
I always use my own car to run over recalcitrant electronics...it's more satisfying to the senses.
