I saw this pic and loved it. Everyone is seeking that magic pill. The one elixir to make it all better. I don't think there is actually one that exists. Do you?
Nope no cure alls, magic pills or elixirs on that road.
Thoroughly walked it, liked parts of it, hated the wide open highway stretches. The cars just kept coming, trying to run me over instead of offering a ride.
Got off it at a rural interchange where I could smell cow shit and see grass.
It's good now, and I save some buy not supporting Ely Lily Et.Al.
I believe thoroughly that pharmaceutical companies are one of the most powerful entities. They have quite the influence. I, too, like you am a collector of samples. I have a decent GP. He is genuinely altruistic and does whatever he can to help me save money. I even asked him once why he didn't go into private practice, instead of working at a health center that is mostly medicare/sliding scale. His response surprised me. The doctor stated that the first and foremost part of his patient obligation is "Thou shall do no harm"..He feels that he is able to be mildly successful and the most helpful working where he does. He drove a beat up Toyota for the last two years and I constantly teased him, saying he should upgrade. Last month the man broke down and bought a Lexus...Lol...Said it was more to please the wifey. I wish more doctors actually cared for their patients. I wish there were still the traveling family doctors and such from a time long gone. OH well..now we have BIG insurance companies and such.. how lovely...
